WOLVES BANQUET

1108

Bothvar Lord Wolf invites you to the

“Wolves Winter Banquet"

15th Febuary 2006, 7.30pm for 8pm

£26 for food.

To the people of Norsca,
and Honoured guests

All hail the war host, and a happy solstice to you all,

Wintering back in Norsca, feasting with you all is a time I look forward to.

With the winter larders still stocked and the Yule log burning in the great hearth, it’s time for us to come together and celebrate every thing that is Wolf before we turn our attentions again beyond the shores of Norsca.

In very few other corners of the Midgard do any of the other races and peoples demonstrate the friendship and hospitality that is legendry of the wolves, and this year I expect no different.

During the course of the evening I intend to hear of the saga of the duelling Jarls, and wish to confer a few promotions.

So come Join me in the great mead hall of Odinsheim and let us celebrate.

I’ve had the rangers hunt winter dear in the parks so we will dine well. I’ve tapped Bevyn secret supply of ales and mead so come one come all to the Wolves winter solstice banquet.

Bothvar, Lord Wolf.

I would take this time to remind you all of the lore of Hospitality,

¨       This is a time of peace and celebration. Guards will be posted out side for our protection so no weapons should be brought into my long hall.

¨       Your eating knife is accepted.

¨       Under the lore of hospitality it is an expectation that no harm shall become another

¨       If a crime is committed in the lands of Norsca by a Wolf, they shall be held forfeit and dealt with in the usual customs of the law.

¨       If a crime is committed in the lands of Norsca by a guest, hospitality shall be withdrawn for that person or persons, and they shall be held forfeit for it. ¨

¨        Poisons are illegal in Norsca without a licence, as they are dishonourable. The use of poisons will compound a crime and so any punishment.

The banquet will have plenty of food and a bar until 1.30am. A lovely old barn (with heating!) will be the place for our banquet.

Please complete the booking form on the next page, and send it with your money for food only.

The hotel cannot sleep everyone but offers camping for those foolhardy enough to take that option! (with toilets, electricity and showers).  This year, you will have to book your own room at the hotel and you need to leave a £25 deposit (for the room) when you phone to book. As it is not big enough for everyone it is first come first served. There are plenty of other hotels nearby if you are too late – details of which are on the next page.
